Just thought Id share this from the MK7 Forums. Not sure I saw it talked about here, but a useful one for those that have not done this.
An you know the 12v in the Center Console does not stay on when the car is off. Quick fix for that is just moving a fuse behind the compartment to the left of the steering wheel.

Move the yellow 20mp fuse up one notch and voila!
Tried and confirmed with my 2016 e-Golf SE.
