Translation: You're the owner or lessee of a 1 to 1.5 year old vehicle that has value, which the dealer will conveniently use as a "down payment" and write a new lease or loan that retains the same/similar monthly payment, but the duration of the loan/lease will be increased and will be disclosed to you only after you meet with the finance / upsell person. Of course, we won't tell you that you risk forfeiting the pro-rated amount of any California or local rebates on your 2016 model, because you had to retain ownership or lease for a minimum of 30 months.
