BMW has set up a forum for i3. Why can't VW for e-golf?

VW can always join this forum, and get good feedback directly from their most enthusiastic owners!

A valid point was made earlier that VW or any manufacturer wouldn't want to support or show partiality for a private profit making forum over which it has no control or design. BMW could have joined any of several i3 forums but chose to sponsor its own, I suspect for those reasons
