Trunk and camera stopped working

Well, out of the blue, our '19 has just developed this problem where both the camera won't pop open and the trunk won't open from the VW emblem. I did crawl back there and used the emergency release to pop the trunk open. That worked, but the problem persists. Anybody else with this issue? (and yes I do realize we're still under warranty, but I like to know what's going on here). thx

Guessing it's a wiring/ground problem common to both those things. Should be an easy fix for the dealer.

Unfortunately, their "fix" lasted just 24 hours. The car is back at the shop; now they're saying it needs some kind of "actuator". Part is on order.
