    Leftover 2016 e-Golf SELs

I'm an egolf owner in Massachusetts. Got a great deal on a 2015 SEL two years ago. Which I still own until at least December. Bought a Bolt Premiere last weekend and LOVE it so far. Quirk Chevy is having insanely good deals right now ($6k off msrp), and I could argue that the Bolt may be a...

Most Miles You Have Driven In One Single Day?

I've done 267 miles in one day. It was last summer from Boston to NYC. Ran 30 miles of errands around Boston, charged up on L2, and set out. Stopped for a quick L2 below Providence. Hit the L3's in Mystic + Milford. And then recharged on L2 in Manhattan. If I recall, everything except Mystic...

    Temperature related changes in consumption

It's just started to get cold here in Boston and I've seen a considerable drop in range both with + without using the heat. I average about 5mi/kwh in summer on my commute to work and am now averaging about 4mi/kwh. Same route, same speed (usually around 30mph/average). Turning heat on and...

    adjust Lane Assist

Joules is such a kook. You need to relax. If we had guys like you who, who don't believe in innovation, running the world, we wouldn't have planes or phones or renewable energy. "back in my day we used to take a horse + buggy" or "just send a letter if you want to talk to your friend" or "why...

Buy 2015 or lease 2016 (New Jersey)

You should check out VW of Boston. Picked my 2015 SEL up there in December for $26.5. Looks like they still have one on the books. Bet you could get a great deal on it. I dealt with Mike Petersante and he made everything so easy. Even if you ship it to NJ, will still be cheaper than buying on...

Anyone got a great deal this week?

The absence of a response to anything else you suggested is merely agreement. Will make sure I nod my hat to you next time. For the record, I agree with everything else Bizzle said in his previous post. However, they just announced the 30% increase, so if the extra (unconfirmed) 25mi are...

Anyone got a great deal this week?

Don't fall into the "next year should see a range increase" trap. You'll never wind up buying a car with this outlook. My opinion is that this forum is VERY optimistic on battery tech. Whereas, in reality, battery tech is incremental, not revolutionary. As consumers, we can probably expect a...

2016 SEL Premium Lease in MA

Those are pretty good numbers. When you take into account the $2,500 refund, you're talking closer to $239/month. I bought my 2015 SEL from Boston VW in December for $26,500 before federal/state incentives (so basically $16,500). Their website says they have one 2015 SEL left. Bet you could...

Another newbie needing help with leasing

Judging by other threads, it would appear this is NOT a good deal. Unless quick charge is really THAT expensive where they have to charge an extra $60 - $80 over other leases. Might be able to pick up an SEL for the monthly rate you were offered if you shop around a little bit.

nrg EVGo MA DC Combo charger experiences

Along the 95 corridor... I see DC's in Cranston, Mystic, Milford and then it's 75 miles to NYC... Might even be able to skip a station depending on weather, traffic, driving style, etc. Obviously not very good to DC charge your battery that many times in a row but nice to know it's possible...
