Is 7,500 mi lease regional?

I've seen a bunch of the lease offers that seem to be from California for 7500 miles per year. All of the Volkswagen dealers in my area, Connecticut, I claiming that the lowest you can actually go is 10,000 miles per year. I only put on about 5000 or 5500 Miles per year, so I'd rather not pay for the additional 2500 miles if I don't have to.

Just so you know, the difference from a 10,000 mile a year lease to a 7,500 mile per year lease is minimal. I upgraded from a 10,000 to a 12,000 mile per year lease for about $10/month.
